Windows and doors are an investment in the future. Therefore, they must be able to last into that future and all that it entails with respect to wind, weather and wear and tear. For precisely for this reason, we take pride in durability and we test our doors and windows on a continuous basis – and when we've done that, we do it again. We test for heat insulation, sound insulation and load capacity. Out of the many tests we perform, only 2 are compulsory. The rest we do because we prioritise durability over everything else.
ENHANCED WATER EXPOSURE
To ensure that Rationel AURA and Rationel AURAPLUS can withstand even the worst rain and stormy weather, the products are exposed to an enhanced water tightness test. See how we test for extreme water exposure here. The tested element has 2 sealing planes.
TESTED FOR WEAR AND TEAR
Windows and doors are opened and closed many times during their service life. To ensure a long service life we thoroughly test construction and fittings by opening and closing them time and time again and again.
TESTED AGAINST HURRICANES
To ensure that the windows' construction can withstand high wind forces, they are tested with a strong pressure load. In fact, we test the windows to a pressure, equal to that of a hurricane. See how we test to hurricane force here.
TESTED FOR WATER TIGHTNESS
To ensure that our windows and doors can meet future storms and rainfalls, they are exposed to a simulated storm in our test rooms. See how we test for water tightness here. The tested element has 2 sealing planes.
TESTED FOR BURGLARY PROTECTION
In Denmark, there is a burglary every 12 minutes. Rationel's windows with security package is developed to keep the burglar out. See how we test for burglary protection here.
