Rationel SAFETY
- avoid Injuries
Safety glass reduces the risk of personal injuries. Rationel
SAFETY panes are made of toughened or laminated glass:
both are difficult to break. If toughened glass breaks, it
falls out of the sash and shatteres into small, harmless
pieces. When laminated glass is broken it remains in one piece
held together by an inner layer.
Injuries from broken glass are unlikely to occur when using
either type of safety glass.
Rationel SAFETY has been tested and marked according to several
national and European standards. Safety glass can be combined with
other properties, such as low-energy, solar reflecting and reduced
visibility.

Values according to EN 410 and EN 673 (dT = 15 K filling
degree = 90%).
Table values apply only to the pane.
TGH = toughened, LAM = laminated
LT- and g-values are stated as the percentage of light / heat
penetrating hrough the pane.
Rw = sound reduction measured in dB
